Winter 2026 Selections
Our bookseller has chosen four reads across genres of poetry, romantasy, nonfiction, and sci-fi that represent what we are invested in this spring. We wanted to learn more about consumerism, and how nature is impacted by humanity. We wanted to visit different worlds and take a break from the everyday. This quad of books shows some of what we love to read and we hope you enjoy our picks for the season!
Italian Olympic Selections
Before the stadiums, there were fields and libraries. These stories are rooted in Italy’s landscapes and intellectual traditions - where food is culture, ideas are debated into the night, and land demands reverence. We present a fiction collection to celebrate Italy while we cheer on the world’s best.
A small, un-notable village begins to wonder what will happen to its establishments and community centers as time seems to stand still as the world moves around it. Little do the villagers know that a local truffle hunter has just happened upon something that could change everything. A truffle — un tartufo, that is — sits beneath the soil with the power to be the greatest gift or the foulest curse the village has ever seen.
